Renee Ouimette

Meet Renee! Renee has been with FBH since February 2022 and is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She previously worked in the dental field and as a kids' birthday party host for four years. “FBH is such an amazing place to work at, and it is the most rewarding job you could ask for. Some people think our job is just playing with the kids, but it’s so much more than that. We get to build rapport with each client and a bond we will never forget, teach them functional communication and that they will always be heard, and let them know it’s okay to express their emotions and to feel the way they’re feeling. Yes, we get to play and have fun during sessions, but they’re benefiting and learning so much through it all. It’s the most heartwarming experience to be able to watch your clients make progress and achieve their goals. There is nothing else more I could picture myself doing now.”

When Renee isn’t at FBH, “I love spending time with my son and friends. Going on hikes and listening to music helps me connect and ground myself. I really enjoy building Legos, trying new crafts, and exploring new food places, even though I’m the worst at picking places to go.”
